a short introduction to this package. when i came to austria, i lived in a dormitory for a bit less than one month. days that felt like years. having no occupation (with no internet-connection), i started playing around with the *new* advanced visualisation studio from nullsoft. the presets in this package are the first presets i have created, a whole year ago (i think i wrong with the month, must've been september 2000 instead).

fluoreszenz is stuffed with effects, but reminded me of neon-light in the night. it was followed by discosuperstar , a similiar effect but optimized for pixel-doubling mode (YES!!). funny to see that i began using the mosaic at a very early time. the mosaic is still a feature that i like using a lot. the next step was indra followed by indra 2 . i have no idea why both presets are that blurry, but yet again you can see my sympathy for basic beat-detection. tiefenrausch is kinda based on its predecessors, although a lot more psychedelic. i remember, deskmod staff rated that as my best submission and i was really pissed about it. i've created a lot better presets after that (the cosmic series, altered state, aromabar just to name a few), but tiefenrausch still had the best rating.

the reason why i uploaded a rather weak pack of presets? well, i think i should not be ashamed looking back. on the other hand it might be interesting for you aswell to see my roots, the floridsdorf years.
